Dairy cattle basket fans
This Dairy Cattle Fan (basket fan) is specially developed for dairy houses. With its high throw and high air output, this fan maintains a minimum air speed of 2m/s over a large distance. For barns with a low ceiling, we recommend smaller basket fans. It is of course also possible to combine the Dairy Cattle Fan and the smaller basket fans.

An optimal living environment for dairy cattle requires a good climate. After all, a pleasant barn climate contributes to healthy and productive livestock. Especially at high temperatures, ventilation is important to prevent heat stress. From 22 ºC a cow eats less and milk production decreases. Other side effects of heat stress are fertility problems, a decrease in resistance and a higher risk of udder infection.
You can prevent these problems by blowing refreshing air around the cows. This lowers the wind chill temperature and protects the milk production of your cattle. To obtain this effect, a minimum air velocity of 2m/s is important.
